Tumbajamba’s XM73 Gauss Rifle

This mod will add a brand new standalone Gauss rifle and many custom parts to the game.

Install

Make sure you have completed all necessary configurations to enable mods in Fallout 4.

Manually install mods on PC

Make sure you add all the essentials for your FALLOUT.INI first!

I really recommend installing through the Mod Manager. The installation wizard will guide you through the steps and minimize the possibility of future errors. Other mod managers, such as Fallout 4 Mod Manager, are deprecated and may give you a "Bad Structure" - error.

Using ModManager (NMM):

• Click "Download with Manager" to download the mod.
• Activate the mod in Mod Manager and follow the installation guide.

While not (completely) necessary, I highly recommend using the Armor & Weapons keyword community resource.

If you do not use it, you must select the "New Workbench" option during installation.

Manual installation (not recommended):

• Download the mod.
• Extract the .zip file into a new folder.
• Copy all contents in the "options" and "fomod" folders to the "Fallout4\data" folder.
• This step depends on how you want to make your project in the game and whether you have AWKCR installed:

If you need a new production workbench and AWKCR is not installed, copy "tumbajamba Advanced Engineering.esp" and "GaussRifleMk2 - tAE.esp" from the "Options" folder to the "Fallout4\data" folder.

If you need a new production workbench and have AWKCR installed, copy "tumbajamba Advanced Engineering.esp" and "GaussRifleMk2-tAE-AWKCR.esp" from the "Options" folder to the "Fallout4\data" folder.

If for some reason you don't like the new crafting workbench, copy "GaussRifleMk2 - AWKCR.esp" from the "Options" folder to the "Fallout4\data" folder. This will require AWKCR.

• Activate the newly copied .esps via your preferred method.

How to get a rifle

Depending on the installation option you choose, you can:

• Make Rifle Advanced Engineering Workbench in BALLISTIC WEAPONS category.
• Craft a rifle on the Weaponsmith Workbench in the Armor and Weapons Keywords Community Resources in the BALLISTIC WEAPONS category.

Known issues

Rails and Scopes will display incorrectly when given to NPCs. This is a bug brought over from the vanilla Gauss Rifle and we don't currently know how to fix it. Solutions will be welcome.
