About this mod Machine translation
Place several unique Sons of the Atom throughout the Federation for you to find, recruit, and send to your settlements.
Atom's Faithful - Recruitable Children of Atom places several unique Children of Atom across the Commonwealth for you to find, recruit, and send to your settlements. Unlike most of the Children of the Atom in the Wasteland, these children understand that they cannot grow the Church if they kill everyone they meet. Instead, they seek to form alliances and maybe even friendships so that more lost souls can bask in the light of the Atom. This is what they bring:
All are built with new base records to avoid conflicts with other CoA mods.
They all have names like "Sister Olivia" or "Brother Adam."
All mods are highly scaled, consistent with other mods I've made.
They all have the Aquaboy/Aquagirl and Radiation Immunity perks, making them ideal for colonizing highly irradiated locations.
Once recruited and assigned to a settlement, they will function like any other settler; however, since they lack the normal settler voice line, they will not respond as expected if they are assigned to a vendor booth, surgical chair, eye care station, or similar job with unique dialogue. They work best if assigned as farmers, defenders, suppliers, or scavengers.
The Recruitable Sub-files section of the Atom extension provides an add-on extension that provides these NPCs with "unique" armor/costume sets pulled from other mods (see the first screenshot and the second half of the remaining screenshots). Currently, only two downloads require the use of expansion files, but this list may grow in the future. The required documents are as follows:
Atom's Glory Threads, by Tinuvia.
Niero CROSS_Chosen_Of_Atom. Use the .esp version of the garment.
As per usual, I "rebuilt" the armor/gear sets with new base records to ensure compatibility with the mods that drew them. Again, I made them non-playable, so while you can take them from NPCs, your character won't be able to use them. Luckily, both required mods have their armor/outfits infused into the CoA tier list, so you'll be able to find versions available in the wild. Additionally, the Atom's Cross of Choice armor/attire comes with a crafting recipe found in the Chemistry Station.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
