About this mod Machine translation
This is just a simple recolor I did to suit my taste. It simply repaints some grass, ground and shrubs to make the landscape look more vivid...it saturates some plants to make some things look more vivid. Not much can be done to the tree yet due to technical glitches.
To use this mod, just unzip it into your data folder and make sure to modify fallout4.ini under the [Archive] section:
sResourceDataDirsFinal = STRINGS\,TEXTURES\,MUSIC\,SOUND\,INTERFACE\,MESHES\,PROGRAMS\,MATERIALS\,LODSETTINGS\,VIS\,MISC\,SCRIPTS\,SHADERSFX\This is required to add all mods!
warn! This mod may cause mild to severe performance degradation on some PCs, so use with caution.
Update: I've added a version 3, but I'm keeping it as a test file for now as not all textures show up and it seems to drop a few frames in my own game. I wouldn't make it the default NMM file anymore, please use it yourself if you plan on trying it. It may or may not improve performance. Thanks. :)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
