About this mod Machine translation
Add a highly customizable M4 with first- and third-person models, sounds, animations, and multiple variations to suit your AR needs.
Prefix: STS:
Tactical reloading (optional):
As the title states, WF's high-quality M4 package at the beginning of last year was originally planned to be released in April, but when I saw someone posting a mod with the same title, I was careless and didn't check it. It was a modified esp that did not include the main body, so I postponed it until now. It is a gift to celebrate the restoration of the network.
This mod adds a highly customizable M4. Features sounds and animations (1st and 3rd person), includes a unique reload with 1 different magazine options. It also includes various blueprints from across the Commonwealth, as well as some MasterCraft weapons that can be crafted at the Chemistry Station.
How to get:
You can find the XM4 inside the armory in Vault 111. You can find the M16 variants in the exhibit section of the Liberty Museum, where they will be leaning against display cases. There are 4 unique blueprints you can find in the Federation Wasteland, but I won't spoil those locations. The Master Blueprint will be crafted at the Chemistry Station.
Due to changes made to Fallout 4 and the Creation Kit in the latest update, this mod will only work properly in the game patched to version 1.10.163+
About Tactical Reload: Download Tactical Reload. Please be sure to add the TR patch through the cassette or MCM STS project after entering the game.
Likewise, make sure you have the latest version of Fallout 4.
The package includes TR and non-TR main bodies, as well as the 2.0 upgrade of 2K textures, and the corresponding Chinese patch (by Broodahood). Install the main body first, then cover and install the texture, and finally the Chinese version.
The esp modification guide I mentioned above:
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
