HELLOOOOOO!!!! AGAIN! ! ! ! !
Asked for this one (several times).
Some people asked me to solve the problem "my own way." :P
This is what I came up with.
I ripped everything out and redid it to make it more visually appealing but also a practical solution.
The drive-in is now a multi-use location.
It's a drive (for legends), motel, restaurant, fort and more.
The main building is now a multi-story with several rooms for rent (or for players to come home to), a large dining room, a very creepy basement, 2 floors, one of which is the water purifier plus power supply, and the second floor is the workshop area. There is also a SOLAR power supply on the roof, which also serves as the main watchtower and protection tower.
For the settlers, most of their accommodation is primarily in a couple of trailer homes where I set up 21 assignable beds.
We also have a separate area where your suppliers can set up shop and have their own premises behind the shop.
We also provide them with bathrooms and toilets in a "public use" style.
The screen is now a huge tower, also great for guards, and below it are the buildings there, but redone a bit.
The two power supplies are wired just like my other modules from the PYLON/Conduit to the power supply (you can't connect the solar panel or fuse box to anything because it only works the other way).
Once connected... then exit the workshop and activate the power supply.
Now, depending on your save, you might see something that might be floating like a restaurant door. Simply scrap anything that doesn't belong.
Warning comes with a few surprises. ;)
Oh, most people forget...
I set up conduits and racks around the perimeter of the posts so you can get power anywhere.
That's now...
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
