Version 1.1
Rebalanced difficulty settings. Normal now requires 7 Fusion cores.
Cores are meant to be an important and rare resource, but if you don't use Power Armor, they may end up being nothing more than salable items. This mod is designed to make fusion cores valuable even if you don't use power armor, since you can use them to build a mechatronic implant.
This mod allows you to craft a mechatronic implant at a Chemistry Workbench, which will give you 1 Perk bonus.
You can use as many implants as you want.
Crafting the implant requires 10 Fusion Cores (plus 3 Aluminum and 3 Circuit Boards).
There are 4 options to choose from during installation:
Very simple: 5 fusion cores are required for implantation.
Simple: Implantation requires 7 fusion cores.
Normal: The implant requires 10 fusion cores.
Reality: Implantation requires 10 Fusion Cores and Science Talent Level 4.
Install/Uninstall
Use Vortex/MO2.
Not compatible
This mod is a component of Creative Perks Overhaul, so if you have that, you won't need this.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
