*As the title states, I posted this module in response to a private message request. I don’t like this kind of script-heavy mission module very much. I’ve been so busy recently that I haven’t even opened MO2. I’ve spent all my free time playing other things. *
Updated Chinese address on June 2:
Version 4.5 updated on February 16, 2026:
The next-generation compatible version and the anniversary version should also work. Requires Papyrus Eden Writing Extender
Updated on July 1st:
Halved the health of buffier enemies to be less bullet sponges, took away some of the ant encounters and reduced some combat to help improve framerate, added a flamer to the tunnel sections for players to help. It also takes up less space.
Updated on April 1, 2025:
Removed redundant textures, please remember to detail any game-breaking bugs. If a problem recurs among many users, I'll fix it.

renew! As of August 11, 2024, we at Dexco Productions are producing a sequel to The New Adventures of The Man in Silver titled The Man in Silver: American Nightmare! We are currently looking for level designers for our world space (which is about 1/5-1/4 the size of Far Harbor) and internal levels, as well as character artists for new NPC types. If you're interested in helping us continue the adventures of the Stranger in Silver, join the Discord at the bottom! Continue on the path of a righteous vigilante! -TheModdingGoat
describe
As evil walks the streets of Boston, there's a man lurking in the shadows. Protect the innocent. Judge the guilty. That guardian is... The Stranger in Silver!
It's been a while since the Sole Survivor took on the mantle of the righteous sharpshooter The Silver Man! But when a mysterious radio signal contacts them about a job involving a weirdo... it's time to get dangerous!
Featuring a return to old-school branching Fallout dialogue, The New Adventures of the Silver Man promises that your choices will play an important role in your journey! Filled with scripted boss battles, professional voice acting, custom boss themes, reimaginings of old Fallout 3 enemies, and dialogue that reflects your actions in the mod and the game itself, return to the insane lore of the Man in Silver! Or don't just play mods like any other mission. The choice is yours!
illustrate
To activate this mod, you must first complete the original Stranger in Silver quest and wait four days before listening to radio station 19.8. As with most mods, you should prioritize doing this with a new game, but you shouldn't have any issues installing it mid-game.

Dedicated to the lovely people without whom this mod would not be possible.

Prerequisites
Important note: This mod requires the pre-next generation update (i.e. version 1.10.163) of Fallout 4, all DLC, MCM, F4SE, address library, Uneducated Shooter (soft requirement for true crouching), Console Util, Lighthouse Papyrus and extended dialog interface.
Recommended for veteran vigilantes level 35+, The New Adventures of The Man in Silver is recommended on Normal difficulty, with combat difficulty and filled with tight, claustrophobic spaces. Themes of substance abuse and ableism are prevalent. This is my (original author TheModdingGoat, the same below) first real mod, so of course I will make mistakes, please point them out so I can improve my modding skills. Thanks.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
