The Machine and Her Resurrection (Chinese version updated)

The Machine and Her is a great story. Unfortunately, the version of the Creation Suite that makes it isn't very good. Nika allowed us to develop a resurrected version, clean up the cell headers, rebuild the navigation mesh, generate new visual effects previews, and fix many bugs. Hopefully this becomes a staple in everyone's load order.

NikaCola’s machine and her is a great story. This is something we're trying to bring back and make it a staple on everyone's loading list.

We (original author handshawk, the same below) cleaned up cell headers, deleted redundant cells, rebuilt a new navigation grid, generated new pre-shows and pre-combinations, and tried to fix a lot of bugs.

You still need the texture archive of the original mod. We've provided a rebundled master archive from SpaceFiddle which should resolve some audio issues.

The original visual effects preview is built into the mod, and there is a separate PRP.74 visual effects preview patch under the optional files.

Due to plug-in changes, it is strongly recommended that you use the new game to play.

compatibility

You'll need NikaCola's original mod The Machine And Her for this to work properly.

If using XDI, get this XDI patch for EnvyDeveloper. XDI's Wolfmark patch may also help, but has not been tested. XDI without either of these will cause task issues.

Kit cannot wear most modified clothes or costumes because her race is based on human children. McMaHack has this mod that might work, but once she equips a different outfit, she can never go back to her default outfit. And don't try to put any CBBE clothing on her. You have been warned. It's better to keep her in her default outfit.

Additionally, the machine and her Atlantic office patch are no longer needed. The cell header is no longer part of the plugin.
