On behalf of "AL Team" we welcome you!

We are the creators of Help House, a quest mod for Fallout 4 with its own unique story and rewards.

The Help House is a small adventure mission mod where you must uncover the brutal origins of a family of raiders and claim their legacy for yourself.

Initially, we planned to release this project in a different form and under the name "Ancestor's Legacy", similar in scale to the unofficial Fallout 4 DLC. However, with the launch of Helping Homes we are showcasing some of the progress we have made and packaging it into a standalone local story.

The entire story surrounding "The House of Help" will be included as a separate mission in "Legacy of the Ancestors," but for now, we're releasing it as a small standalone project. It doesn't reflect the essence of what's going on in "AL," nor does it hint at the full scope of the project.

When you try this mod for yourself, consider it a standalone experience.

Please note that in this demo, our goal is to provide everything the original Fallout 4 experience has to offer:

Game loops, exploration, legendary items and unexpected plot twists.

We want to make sure that every type of player can find something addictive and keep in their mod list after completing the quest.

We sincerely hope you enjoy this title as it reflects our principles of developing interesting and engaging stories for players.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
