The Forgotten Pump Room - Players Home
This mod adds a player house slightly south of the beach in University Point.
This mod was made for one of my many games. Typically, I release mods empty, leaving it to the players' own creativity and allowing them to express their own stamp and style on the buildings shown. This mod showcases my main build style and my house style. I've made dozens of builds and player homes over the past few years and this is the last release. This home has a lot of features and with tons of scripts, those with lower spec machines may experience low FPS. A powerful machine is required to fully benefit from this home.
This mod is built on an older generation of Fallout and hasn't been upgraded until they iron out all the bugs, I can only hope it works with it. But for people like me who haven't upgraded yet, it will work fine.
This home has the following features:
You can travel fast.
Tons of custom assets and textures.
Fully furnished shelves and cabinets.
Working light switches in all rooms.
The windows feature full day and night modes, including the weather for the location.
Automatically opens and closes doors.
Fireplace available.
Showers grant charisma or health boosts, and players and companions remove their clothes upon entering.
It was optimized and cleaned up in the F04 edit.
Fully compatible navigation mesh for companions, dogmeats and NPCs, with idle and comment markers and sound effects.
There are many more...
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is a button in the armor room that changes the gender of the mannequins, please note that all items must be removed from them before changing gender, otherwise you will lose all items stored in them. You have been warned...
Not sure if this will work with the next gen update of Fallout 4, I haven't upgraded yet and won't. But it will work fine with old Fallout.
The location of the house has been moved from the video as it's slightly off the map, but the interior remains the same.
Known and potential issues:
DLC armor monitors have a reputation for not being randomly generated when the player first enters the cell they are in. If this happens, quickly leaving and walking back to the cell should sort the problem. This is a base game issue that may be found in any mod that uses these items, and is not unique to this mod.
Acknowledgments
Ellenora's bag and shoe textures come from her Chestnut Lodge player family mod. All other non-vanilla assets are made by me.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
