The first step of task adjustment

Tired of running all the way to Colvega for your first Militia mission? This mod adjusts the priority of the strategy location selected in the first step. Jushouso will now send you to Air Force Base Olivia instead of Corvey Factory (if cleared, then someone else will be selected). Esp-light plugin. There is no script.

**Introduction:**

In vanilla, the game checks which settlements are not owned by you (when talking to Preston at Sanctuary Hills) and which settlements contain settlers. At the top of the list are Ten Shoso and Oberland stations, if both are unavailable then you'll be sent somewhere else.

If you do get sent to Ten Pine Village or Oberland Station, the game will designate the Corvega Assembly Plant as a target, assuming its leader is still alive. Once the place respawns, the boss can be Jared, or a regular raider boss. If Kovicha is unavailable (i.e. the boss is dead at the time), then the game will check for nearby raider areas, such as Walden Pond. Note that it only checks locations that count as pillager underground areas, and excludes possible settlements (for example, it ignores the Simonian Outpost despite the presence of pillagers).

You might be thinking: 'Where's Olivia at Air Force Base?' Well, the game "keeps" it in Returning the Favor, a locket mission in Arbona's farm. It prevents other missions from selecting Air Force Base Olivia as a target unless that mission allows the option to reserve the location (which the first step does not).

**What this module does:**

It modifies the first step (and only this task). If you are sent to Jusatsuso, the priority of raider locations is:

• Air Force Base Olivia.

• Simonian Outpost (note that Boomer and his men count as bosses. They all need to be killed in order to complete the objective).

• Bush digging plant (drained only once).

• Walden Pond.

• If all of the above are unavailable, the mission will search the next looter area closest to Jusatsuso as usual. The Kwega assembly plant should appear at this point.

If you are dispatched to Oberland Station instead of Ten Shoso, the priority list is:

• Beantown Distillery.

• Kwega Assembly Plant.

• If neither of the above locations is available, the next closest location is selected as usual. Hardware City should appear at this point.

I haven't changed anything about the past Ten Pines and Oberland stations. So if you're not sent to them, expect the game to send you to Green Roof Greenhouse or even Somerville.

**Installation and Removal:**

Install or remove manually or use mod manager. This only contains an espfe/esp-light plugin, no scripts. You can install it during gameplay, although it will only edit the first step of the mission.

**Note:**

If the game keeps sending you to Oberland instead of Ten Pine Village when both should be available, then it's likely that Ten Pine Village already has a mission in progress without your knowledge. Since this unseen mission is ongoing, the game decided to pre-assign Oberland.
