The Boston Continental Hotel is modeled after the Continental Hotel in the John Wick film series, with the addition of a players' home. Accessing different areas of the hotel will require you to fight your way through a number of new Wick-inspired locations. If you choose to take down the High Table, you'll get a new player home/safe house in Nuka World and Far Harbor.

How to get started:

Head to the Players House at the Sanctuary and look for the dog house in the yard.

Unlock the hotel:

Rather than having a bunch of quest markers and objectives telling you what to do, it's more about letting players use their knowledge of the John Wick movies to access different parts of the hotel.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, or you're not sure what to do next, there's a spoiler hologram at the hotel's front desk. Holotapes feature guides and walkthroughs. There's also a spoiler in the hotel's "Records" compartment that contains all the keys, in case you can't find your keys or don't want to search for a new location.

New location:

This mod adds locations from all four John Wick movies.

Since this mod follows the storyline of Wick, you can expect a lot of combat. Carry some operational tactical weapons with you, and consider using a mod that rids enemies of bullet sponginess (I really like the SKK50's "Headshot Kills Any Actor"

Known issues:

To drop a sledgehammer or pencil, you must place them on the weapons workbench.

Players' homes are not full settlements, and currently you cannot fire their companions (Boston Continent and Osaka do have workbenches). This may change in the future.

I (the author, hereafter) did not add any dialogue options for some NPCs (this is more of a personal preference since the dialogue is silent).

I'm still learning, so if you encounter other issues please report them and I'll try to fix them.

The sets and presets shown in the screenshots do not belong to, and are not included in, this mod. Both mods are excellent and highly recommended. You can find them here:

The weapons in the screenshot are not included, I just wanted to show where some of the weapon racks are placed.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
