FENS INTERIOR DESIGN (REVISITED)
- Author: Tommygunner321
Part one of my Fallout 4 Interior Design project (updated and overhauled). This mod adds 12 unique, detailed, mostly small to medium-sized interior spaces to the Fens community, designed to look like they were part of the original game, filling in those pesky empty doors we love so much. I hope you guys enjoy this mod as much as I do, thank you.
Interior Design
- Brewer Tunnel
- Cabaret club
- Clover Bar
- Abandoned apartment
- Laundromat
- Massachusetts Savings and Loan
- Riverside restaurant
- Rook Military Surplus
- Abandoned apartment
- Corner bar
- Vesta's Housewares
- West Boston Pharmacy
Author's Note
- I've attached a picture that roughly shows the internal layout.
- This is essentially a new mod, but the esp file name is different, players using the old Fens Interiors will need to restart the game.
- The West Cambridge and East Boston interiors (my other interior mods) are both temporarily set to hidden. I feel that both mods are not up to par with the quality of my current work and will be overhauled.
- (Check out my other indoor mod: North End)
Stability and performance
- This mod has been cleaned up in F4edit and will not break pre-merges. It is very safe to use. A conflict will only occur if another mod attempts to use the same door space used by this mod.
compatibility
(I'll add a compatibility section to this page when possible - if anyone has time to test and tell me which mods are compatible, please leave a message and let me know, I'd be very grateful, thank you).
Install
-Nothing special, just install it like you normally would using the mod manager.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
