Use the terrain floor grid of the Federation map, Far Harbor and Nuka World to block the divine light passing through the ground.
ESL markup plugin.
Requires FarHarbor, NukaWorld, and Mod Configuration Menu (MCM).
Install
Install and activate the plugin like any other mod.
Loading order doesn't matter. Other plugins that modify world space or persistent cell records should be loaded after this.
renew
To update from 1.0 to 2.0, simply replace all files. In TerrainUndersides - Main.ba2, only the Commonwealth base mesh has changed.
uninstall
Can be uninstalled at any time. Just disable the plugin and delete all files.
Configuration
The lowest quality terrain floor mesh is provided by default for each world space.
Use MCM to choose between terrain base meshes of different qualities. Lower quality, better performance, but less distance from the original terrain.
Use MCM to lower the terrain base mesh so it can't be seen cutting through the original terrain.
The currently active terrain base mesh and height settings are stored in the normal save game.
information
Simple plugin that places a simplified terrain mesh directly underneath a full terrain facing the opposite direction in order to block sunlight.
If a mod makes drastic height changes to the terrain, it is possible to still see the terrain's base mesh despite lowering the terrain mesh.
Designed to be used with mods such as Sunlight Alignment Tweak - Better Dawn and Dusk.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
