About this mod Machine translation
In the future, the sole survivor of Vault 111, you lead humanity in a war against a malevolent artificial intelligence programmed to enslave the world. From this dark future, two machines have been sent back, one to kill you and the other to protect you. Life or death...war never changes.
Details and features:
This mod is inspired by the Terminator series and adds two cyborg T-1000 synths from the future into the Fallout 4 game world. They appear when you reach level 10 or higher. A robot is the bad guy and will try to track you down and try to kill you no matter where you are in the Federation. It is nearly indestructible and your goal is to escape its wrath and survive. When not fighting, the robot moves around the map at walking speed to make dodging feasible. As you level up, it gains access to exponentially more deadly weapons, so don't say you weren't warned. It's not easy.
We say nearly indestructible because there are actually three ways to kill it permanently:
- Direct strike with mini-nuclear bomb
- Freeze it with any Cryo weapon, including weapons from third-party mods, if they deal true frost damage
- Force it into a large vat of molten steel at the Saugus Forge
Known issues:
- Companion-related perks do not apply to the robot, as he is a special NPC that does not occupy the standard companion slot.
- There is a small problem of excessive glitches (graphical errors with little impact on gameplay) when robots receive continuous damage (damage caused over time).
- Do not use cryogenic weapons on your companions.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
