About this mod Machine translation
Added the ability to attach night vision optics to various helmets.
Author's words:
Tactical night vision optics can be added to the following helmets:
combat armor helmet
maritime tactical helmet
Marine Corps Armor Helmet
Mechanic's Helmet
Sentry Bot Helmet
synthetic helmet
Synth Field Helmet
Inquisitor's Hood
All Power Armor variants (base game and DLC only)
To switch effects, press the N key.
There are two modes; normal (down arrow) and dark (up arrow).
Normal mode is suitable for typical use cases. Dark mode is available for players using mods that make environments darker. Please use at your own discretion.
There's also now a settings holotape that allows users to switch between the default intro and a less-bright alternate intro for those who are more sensitive to light, as well as reset keybindings to default settings. If you lose a Holo-Tape, you can craft it at the Chemistry Workbench (only appears if you don't have any Holo-Tape on you). To change key bindings, first turn off the effects (this is very important), then refer to this list, open the console and type the following in order. You can even copy/paste each line and simply replace the hashtag with the desired value:
where "#" represents the key code from the list linked above. Keep in mind that the game will ignore any keys that have been obtained, so if it doesn't work after modifying the value, you'll know why.
Note: I've added a series of images as a tutorial for making your own patches.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
