About this mod Machine translation
Added the ability to attach night vision optics to a variety of enclosed helmets.
Tactical night vision optics can be added to the following helmets:
Marine Corps Tactical Helmet
Marine Corps Armor Helmet
Mechanic's Helmet
Sentry Bot Helmet
synthetic helmet
Synth Field Helmet
Inquisitor's hood
All power armor models
To switch effects, press the N key.
There are two modes; normal and dark.
Normal mode is suitable for typical use cases. Dark mode is available for players using mods that make environments darker. Use at your own discretion. Use the up (dark) and down (normal) arrows to switch between the two modes.
There's also now a settings holotape that allows users to switch between the default intro and an alternate intro that's less bright for those who are more sensitive to light.
If these keybindings don't work for you, then you can use FO4Edit to edit the mod. Simply change the Int32 value of the TNVNightVisionEffect entry in the editor, where ActivationKey, DarkModeKey, and NormalModeKey are listed, and change them to whatever value you want by cross-referencing the desired key with the scan code listed here. For a visual reference of the entries, see the Images section of this mod.
Keep in mind that any keys that have already been fetched will be ignored by the game, so if it doesn't work after modifying the value, you'll know why.
Patches are available for:
NCR Outfit Pack
Fallout 2287 - Wasteland
Predator-Yautja's Gas Mask
The main body and patches have been packaged.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
