About this mod Machine translation
The Tactical Flashlight adds wearable flashlight devices to the wasteland. Each piece occupies a different armor slot, has different attributes and bonuses, and some allow mods to be applied.
Each light has been added to the Armor Vendor, or you can craft them at the Chemistry Station under "UTILITY". Different lamps and armor models can be crafted at any armor workbench.
Each item is also distributed to various factions in the wasteland!

Pip-Boy Flashlight
Features dynamic color/brightness controls, 120+ light modes, and fixes some annoying vanilla lighting bugs. When used with a tactical flashlight, this mod's device will inherit the light patterns and sound effects of the Pip-Boy flashlight.
dark night
One of the most popular mods on FO4. It could almost be considered a requirement.
Interior design enhancements
Edit all cell lighting data and templates to make all interior ambient lights and fog brightness at 60% darker, not touching any directional lights, keeping the lighting 100% true to vanilla except for those dark corners and unlit areas.
When you load the scene, the game will handle the first light texture used perfectly, but the second texture will always fail to load, resulting in a large featureless circle. The only way to fix this problem is to restart the game. This is a VERIFIED engine error.
Because vanilla pipboy's light has it's own unique texture, the only way to ensure this error doesn't happen is to set all lights to use the same texture.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
