About this mod Machine translation
Developed by West-Tek Research, Advanced Computer Systems, or A.C.S. Designed to provide you with an immersive Fusion Core experience.
Install:
Step 1A:
- Edit your Fallout4.ini
Located in this directory: ...\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini
Step 1B:
Under this section:
[Archive]
- Create the following entries:
bInvalidateOlderFiles = 1
The variable "sResourceDataDirsFinal" must be blank, as shown below:
sResourceDataDirsFinal =
Step 1C:
Add this entry under the [Archive] section of Fallout4Custom.ini:
bInvalidateOlderFiles = 1
Remove everything from sResourceDataDirsFinal so that it is blank, like this:
sResourceDataDirsFinal =
Step 2:
- Extract the "Data" folder in the zip file into the Fallout directory. Usually located at:
C:\ Program Files(x86)\ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Fallout 4
Optional files:
Quieter A.I. Voice:
- By popular demand, I have lowered the volume of the A.I. If you want a quieter A.I. then use the following commands to download and overwrite the current mod file:
A.I. Voice - 30% lower volume
Pipboy audio channel:
- By popular request I have also adjusted the Pipboy Light Switch volume pan for anyone who wants to hear the light switch on both channels. There are two options: full channel (two speakers) or 60/40 option (highly recommended!)
If you want the audio to be centered, download and overwrite your current mod file:
Pipboy Light Switch full channel (stereo)
Director's choice! Check out the other options below. It maintains the authenticity of the original design while feeding some residual audio to the correct channels. 60%
The left channel is panned and the right channel is panned by 40%.
Pipboy light switch (left 60% - right channel edit 40%)
Notice:
- If you plan to use this mode in your video, please send me a PM. I'm so excited to share it here!
- Please PM me all other questions or ask them on the forum and I will try my best to answer them.
Known issues:
- Fusion Core depletion notification may trigger at the wrong moment. That is when entering the Power Suit with over 25% Fusion power. The game uses the same files for various load/unload instances of Power Armor. If I find a solution then I will definitely update the mod here.
- The third person with the ejection sound has no visual effect. I'm looking for talented mods who might be willing to help add steam and animated null fusion core parts. If you are interested, please let me know.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
