You've been watching him for years and now you're finally seeing through his eyes. Power armor that adorns ShoddyCast’s Storyteller!
Just like the title, this is also an update, a supplement to the obituary posted by Crazy Cat:
May he continue to tell stories to those on the other side.
The packaged main file has been uploaded together with the chemical workbench production patch. You can choose to install it according to your needs.

T-49 Power Armor - Storyteller's Armor
You've been watching him for years, and now you're finally seeing through his eyes and creating your own story. The T-49 Power Armor has become an iconic product of Storyteller's journey across the wasteland, and now the ROAD TO LIBERTY team is giving you the chance to wear it yourself.
What's this?
The T-49 Power Armor is a brand new power armor for Fallout 4 that is both independent and independent. Transform it from early-game armor to powerful mid-level power armor, or change it to suit what kind of storyteller you are. Not only does it cover nearly every object modification you might find on other power armor, but it also offers two special sub-types. Desert Scout not only provides pilots with superior recon sensors, but also switches from fusion core to solar power in sunlight. Last but not least, take up the mantle of the Winter Death sub-genre and live up to its infamous reputation, leaving enemies with their last thought that they are safe.
Where is it?
You can find this armor by picking up its pieces from the beginning of the game. Have a Fusion Core handy, as you'll find the Power Armor Frame, as well as some T-49 parts to the northwest of Vault 111. Find two pieces at the Red Rocket Gas Station and finally the T-49 Helmet facing Sean's crib in your old house.
compatibility
It's unlikely there will be any compatibility issues, as the T-49 is as self-contained as the Storyteller. The only problem might be the headlights. If you have any other Power Armor or Mods that use Add On Node 290-291, there may be a conflict and the headlight will not work.
Features
Not mentioned yet, this mod also comes with a
- A college, railway and military jacket.
-Specific ability for desert reconnaissance - Serves as a superior recon sensor and solar - Fusion cells are depleted in sunlight at a much reduced rate.
- White Death's specific abilities - Dedicated motors on your arms to stabilize your aim, making you a farther and deadlier sniper
- Not to mention the white death mask allows you to see enemies through walls when you're infiltrating an enemy stronghold and hoping to remain undetected. Let you know where they are at all times without them knowing where you are.
Future plans
White Death and Desert Reconnaissance won’t be the only sub-types of the T-49, but for now, that’s a story for another day…

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
