About this mod Machine translation
A simple mod that adds an item to your pipboy's AID section called QUICK SAVE. You can hotkey this item and when you use it it will save your game even on survival difficulty. That's right. No more role-playing as a narcolepsy or someone with worrying emotions in bed. You sleep when you're tired, or sleep during the night, saving when you like. It's also fully saved every time you enter or leave an area. This feature is OFF by default and can be enabled using settings holotape (see below).
set up:
If you don't want to use the enter/exit functionality, just use the settings holotape from Pipboy's inventory.
Technical description
The quicksave option uses the autosave system and by default only saves 3 saves instead of writing new ones. If you wish to extend this you can add the following lines to Fallout4Custom.ini
[save game]
iAutoSaveCount= X
Where X is the number of saves you want to keep.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
