While Gatling laser models like the UB-FRIED 3000 and H&K L30 proved useful on the Sino-American front, they were too heavy to be used without powered armor. The AESW (Advanced Energy Support Weapon) series was developed as a lightweight counterpart for soldiers. Unfortunately, the platform saw little initial use as early models were prone to scorching users' hands from overheating, and the AESW3 was developed only a few months before World War I.

The Support Laser is a new heavy weapon designed as an early game counterpart to the Gatling Laser. Although, it makes up for the greatly reduced damage by increasing the rate of fire and reducing the weight of the weapon. The rifle also features unique muzzle mods that both change the gun's capabilities and give it an advantage over its larger cousin.

The weapon will spawn in shops, Brotherhood Soldiers, and Gunners starting at level 20.

Supports third-person animation, but the power armor will use the original animation when in third-person.
