*As shown in the picture, this is a 17-year-old mod. I was reminded of Big Daddy when I was watching Crazy Cat’s review of the Bioshock series a while ago. It just so happened that a Chinese version was recently released, so I decided to make a diversion. *

Travel to the mysterious underwater city ruins of Rapture to find a unique set of power armor inspired by Bioshock’s Rosie Big Daddy!

Submersible Power Armor Redux is the sequel to the original BioShock-inspired power armor and more.

Not only is a new suit of power armor introduced to the game, but also the Big Sisters' suits and their iconic needle weapons. There are also some new settlement items to bring Rapture home with.

I wish you a pleasant stay.

Get it for Xbox One or PC at Bethesda.net too!

Need a Russian translation? kopasov does it for you:

In the northeastern part of the map, there is a rickety old ship. Take it to a mysterious new lighthouse, where you'll find

A submersible ball that takes you into the depths of Rapture...

This module contains

A complete set of powered armor heavily inspired by BioShock's Rosie Big Daddy. The torso and helmet are one piece, but this provides more protection and the ability to add body and helmet modifications.

Rebalanced submersible 1.0 modifications, including increased underwater movement speed, increased carry weight, and underwater breathing.

New Headlight FX in 6 colors. Yellow, white, red, blue, purple and green.

3 variations. Classic Rosie look, Elite Rosie look with optional headgear and Deco look inspired by how little sisters see the world.

3 new settlement objects. Big Daddy statue, Little Sister vent and unique power armor frame designed to be used with Submersible PA Redux. It has no shoulders to reduce tailoring.

A new loading screen featuring Big Daddy.

Full Big Sister outfit (currently female only, no CBBE support yet) and accompanying pin weapon.

Small Rapture location. May be expanded to include new areas in future updates.

Update 1.2: Retextured Big Sister suit, added hood option, new oxygen tanks, porthole colors, ballistic weave support,

New loading screen art and Big Sister settlement statue. The Needle could also use some modifications now.

There's a lot of stretching when putting on the new Submersible Power Armor. This is unavoidable because once you put it on, the fabric parts need to move. I hope no one finds this too distracting.

The Power Armor UI will show you without the chest plate equipped when wearing the full suit. It's just a visual thing,

Statistics have been adjusted to account for the helmet and chest being one piece.

(Keep in mind that none of this is confirmed, just things I'd like to do in the future)

Add more variants/paint jobs.

Expansion of Rapture location.

Probably a male version of the big sister costume.

New weapon for Submersible Power Armor.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
