TOUGHER VERTIBIRDS
This mod adds 30 damage threshold to Vertibirds (like New Vegas). Any damage they take is reduced by 30, then damage resistance is applied. This effectively makes them immune to any weapons that deal less than 30 damage, and no armor-piercing weapons.
It doesn't increase their damage resistance, so they'll still die quickly from high-damage weapons like missile launchers - they're just immune to the curse from attackers and small-arms synthesizers.
Thanks to some clever work by Bethesda, NPCs will recognize if they won't damage the target and will flee from it, so when a Vertibird flies over expect to see the attacker running in terror as it destroys them!
If you want to apply this effect to power armor as well, try using Impervious Power Armor.
Both mods contain a copy of Damage Threshold.esm. If you use both, you can safely override it on installation.
