Darkman32197's amazing stealth suit mod has been tweaked to fix bugs, inconsistencies and make it more consistent with the original item.
Preface: New Vegas Stealth Suit:
This simple mod adds many changes to SCARLET, the classic New Vegas stealth suit, by adjusting values, bonuses, crafting and repair options.
Faction paint can now only be used when part of a faction (past or present).
Many minor bug fixes including miscmod usage, crafting recipes, correct use of bonuses, and fixed a bug that could prevent stealth suits from spawning.
Requires the Gloves add-on variant of the Stealth Suit mod, and this .esp needs to override it.
Highly recommend this Stealth Suit - New Vegas - Voice Add-on:
Unfortunately, I (Kalevala17) can't separate the suit's voice from the player character's, so you'll still have the issue of her speaking in your dialogue. Not game-breaking, but definitely annoying.
After downloading, just overwrite the original file ESP.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
