Inspired by akir4's now unsupported but excellent mod of the same name.
Edit the original animations for the Laser Pistol, Academy Laser Pistol, Laser Rifle, and Academy Laser Rifle. Additionally, some modifications are included, such as:
- All aim and shoot animations (for more accurate and clean shots)
- All rifles sprint and shoot (so they hinder the screen less, especially with large scopes)
- Laser rifle melee (just tried something different)
Academy and regular laser weapons now use different animation sets due to their different sizes. In order to achieve this, new keywords from the ESL-tagged ESP were added to the weapons, and to avoid any conflicts this process was done via Zzyxzz's RobCo Patcher, so this was a requirement.
It should be safe to install and uninstall at any time.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
