Star Sunset Sarsaparilla
Following the overwhelming success of the original Sunset Sarsaparilla, Sunset Bottling Company began looking for new ways to expand its rapidly growing brand. Their answer was the Star Size bottle, which has a larger capacity and delivers the same famous root beer flavor while giving customers great value for money. It quickly became a national hit, earning a loyal fan base in the United States!
Thanks to lots of preservatives, they still taste and bubble like they were freshly bottled 200 years later. They are a favorite among wasters and luckily there are plenty of them.
The mod introduces a star-rated variant of the iconic Sunset Sarsaparilla to Fallout 4, along with eight unique flavors, a new unique melee weapon, a unique vending machine for new sodas, a new junk item, and a new grenade!
This is the first soda mod in the world to provide liquid and realistic ice animations for the icy variant!
You can find soda and its flavors everywhere you'd find regular drinks around the world, and for the ice-cold version, you'll need a drinking partner like Nuka-Cola!
They also spawn in vending machines scattered across the Federation. These locations include Diamond City, Good Neighborhood, Bunker Hill, Brotherhood Airport, and a few other unmarked areas for you to discover naturally! You can also craft it in your settlement, which will bring a happiness boost and easy access to soda!
The vending machines also have animations, and every time the player purchases their favorite flavor, animations and jingles will play!
The Sunset Smasher can be found on a truck near one of the airport highways!
Star Sunset Molotov Cocktails can be found along with regular Molotov Cocktails, or crafted at the Chemistry Workbench!
Finally, empty bottles can be found where regular bottles spawn, and you'll need them to craft new Molotov cocktails!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
