v1.5: Bug fixes, some model and numerical adjustments.
This MOD provides 2 Soviet special silent rifles with first-person reloading animation. The original name of MOD in English is 9x39 Project, which refers to the 9x39mm subsonic bullet used by these two guns in reality. But this MOD uses .38 ammunition in the game.
These two rifles are the AS Val special automatic rifle and the VSS special sniper rifle. They have some simple modifications, including the magazine, sight, butt (VSS only), receiver, and rail. After modifying the rail, there will be three modifications of tactical accessories.
How to obtain: Drop. In addition, there is a box on the elevator behind the Iron Guard Outpost with a set inside. (This post also provides a craftable version without drops.)
Compared with the original version of N network, the version provided in this post has been modified, as follows:
- Delete some dn keywords on the barrel, stock, and receiver, and modify the dn keyword on the magazine.
- A craftable version without drops is also provided.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
