Simple dodge hijacks the hard-and-fast mechanic that is replaced by simple attack reactions.

Plug-in:
Invincibility Frames - Dodge mod plugin by cyan49 - A solution for scripting dodge iframes and melee dodge audio (updated to v2).
Simple dodge plug-in to reduce damage when dodging. Although less scripted, it will cover the Stalker Boy setting.
File name details:
Do you have an animation you'd like to use to replace the dodge roll? They are formatted so that you can complete them easily.
Just swap each file with yours as long as they are named accordingly: staggerForwardSmall
Left: staggerForwardMedium
Right: staggerBack in
etc. Backwards: staggerBackSmall.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
