Simple Crime Suppression
illustrate
The player's friends and allies will have a minimum number of hits they can take before becoming hostile to the player, however, neutral NPCs will not and will immediately attack the player if hit by a stray bullet.
This addon fixes this issue, treating neutral NPCs as friends or allies (only when hitting them) and preventing this from happening again.
Configuration
Simple Crime Suppression F4SE comes with configurable ini. files.
The default settings will set neutral NPCs as friends, which means they will immediately turn hostile after the battle, but can take a few hits during the player's battle before turning hostile. The number of hits depends on iFriendHitCombatAllow and related game settings, which can optionally be modified in the ini.
NPCs can also be set as allies, meaning they can be hit multiple times during combat and ignore all player hits during combat.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
