This mod provides a unified base for all my production mods, making modding easier. It manages the addition and removal of items and components on the shop floor and even configuration using the MCM.

For any modders interested in making add-ons, I've written some implementation guidelines here:

The content of any official SPF mod will be added to the Settlement Production menu at the top level of the Workshop. This menu is handled via SMM, which means adding or removing a menu should not disrupt your workshop in any way.

MCM options (more likely coming soon):

set up

Ignore production costs (disables all required inputs for production objects) | Default: off

Enable payroll (makes piloted production objects require daily cap input to run) | Default: Off

Wage penalty (if wages are not met, production will stop) | Default: 10

Salary amount (value 1-500, if enabled, determines the salary for each object) | Default: off

Charge wages to players (so wage costs are also charged to player inventory) | Default: Off

tool

Generate production reports (make and display a list of all production objects and their inputs and outputs)

Deposit Cap (this will deposit a capped amount to your current or nearby workshop)

Reload the object (this refreshes the input and output of the production object, useful for troubleshooting or updating)

Reset the object (this is similar to reload, except it just does it in a more comprehensive way, if reload doesn't work, use it, but save beforehand)

Install:

Install like any other mod, I personally recommend using the mod manager, but everyone has their own.

compatibility:

This should be compatible with almost anything

Prerequisites:

Settlement Menu Manager

Fallout 4 Script Expander

I also recommend using the Workshop Framework, my mod doesn't explicitly require it, but it makes workshop, and therefore my mod, faster and less buggy.

Official SPF Mod:

industrial base

Chemical cookware Redux

ballistics industry

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
