Demolish everything
To use this mod across the wasteland (with a mod that lets you build anywhere), change the following line in fallout4.ini (under the header [genera]): bUseCombinedObjects=1 to bUseCombinedObjects=0. Don't use ini editors, otherwise, they can do more harm than good. This can also be set up using the FOMOD installer.
introduce
Put this file at the absolute end of the load order, otherwise you'll get scrapped areas that don't work as advertised!
This mod fixes a glaring oversight Bethesda made when they chose to make only a small subset of objects capable of being scrapped. With Scrap Everything, you, the user, have the final say over what stays and what goes. Want to strip your settlement down to its bare bones, leaving you with a ton of open space to run wild on? Do. Want to scrap things like trash, debris, vines, bushes and even dead machines, animals and people, but leave the buildings and trees behind? Do. This mod allows you to literally scrap everything in each settlement if you wish.
This mod scraps everything these mods do (and more): Spring Cleaning, Scrap Dead, Scrap Scrap, Scrapable Federation
EDIT: Since shadowslasher410 has given control of this mod to me (VIitS), you will need to contact me for permission.
No, this will not be ported to any kind of console due to memory issues, lack of debugging, and the fact that Bethesda.Net has an absolutely horrible interface for uploading and maintaining mods. Please stop and ask me! !
Install
Is this your first time installing a Fallout 4 mod? Please go here and make sure you follow the instructions so your mod works properly!
Mod Manager/Mod Organizer: Download the file and add it to the mod manager of your choice. For NMM, use the Add Mod from File button (it looks like a green + sign in the Mods tab) or use the Mod Manager download option. For Mod Organizer. Then just install the mod, make sure it's enabled (and last) in your load order, and start playing!
Manual: Unzip Scrap Everything.zip and transfer the Scrap Everything - Core.esp file to the Fallout 4/Data folder. If you want DLC support, make sure to add the corresponding plugin to your Data folder as well. For more information on manually installing mods, go here.
Known issues
Sprint Error - Use the provided .ini file or add fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0 to Fallout4Custom.ini under the [Gameplay] header (create it if the header or file does not exist).
- Please note that this bug was fixed several years ago. If you encounter this error, it won't hurt to add that line to your .ini file, but this will only happen if you have an extremely broken mod loaded.
Remember to save before scrapping!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
