About this mod Machine translation
Add a desk where Child Settlers can be designated as workstations. You will need a mod to add child settlers!
Update 1.2 adds 2 new Teacher Desktops, A Little Clutter and Vault 88 Blueprint for the wall.
Update 1.1 added a teacher's desk, some blackboards and a periodic table.
The teacher, once assigned, will alternate between moving around the general area of the desk, leaning on the desk looking down, leaning on the desk looking forward, and walking around looking at NPC faces, including students. It will look better if you use a clutter mod to put some notes on your desktop. There are lots of great clutter models out there, and I'll let you clutter your own desk.
The Bonus Happiness Version only adds a tiny bit of happiness - 2.00 per object - but it all counts :)
Unfortunately, there's no teacher dialogue, but other than that, it works pretty well.
I had the now lost and no longer used "Child Settlers" mod installed, so I haven't tested Orphans of the Commonwealth, but I see no reason why Orphans and this mod wouldn't work together just fine. I've included some recolors of the clean and more damaged versions.
You can find the desk below:
Resources>Other
You can find the chalkboard and periodic table under Decorating > Wall Decor > Other Wall Decor
If you want an updated periodic table, tomparis1999 has made a texture overlay for this mod as an optional file (where you can update Far Harbor's periodic table):

Known issues:
I don't know how orphans work, but some of my child settlers have slightly different body types, which might make them clipped a bit. I used a setcale to make those settlers larger in size, it's just a visual effect but it annoys me. Check out the image of the three kids in the vault to see what kind of cropping I mean.
For some reason they flicker a little when looking through the vault door on the blackboard, but they look fine from the side or from a distance. This may also happen when viewing them through other things. This kind of thing can also happen with unedited vanilla meshes. I've seen almost every item in a room disappear when looking through the cracks in the wall.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
