About this mod Machine translation
As the top leader of the Volunteer Army, how can you do everything yourself, especially the drudgery of moving garbage? Now you can make a scavenger beacon at the chemical workbench.
When exploring in the wild, you can use any container as a material storage point, and then place a scavenger beacon in the container. The nearest settlement will send a scavenger team to help you carry the materials. You can specify a destination for the materials, and the materials will be placed in the workshop of your designated settlement.
The speed of material delivery is determined by the distance between the scavenger communication station and the container where you place the scavenger beacon. It can be as fast as a few hours or as slow as a few days (in-game time, not real time).
The prerequisite is that you must first establish a scavenger communication station in any settlement and assign a resident to it.
Need to learn the level 1 local leader perk.
The locations of all scavenger beacons can be tracked on the Pip-Boy map.
Red items in the container cannot be placed with scavenger beacons. Your scavenger team will not help you steal items, but you can steal the items yourself first and then put them back into the container. As long as there are no red items in the container, you can use the scavenger beacon to transport supplies.
Scavenger Squads are unable to reach Railway Headquarters, the Prydwen Airship, and the interior of the Academy, as your Scavenger Squad is not welcome in these locations. A future update may allow Scavenger Squads to reach these locations.
This MOD does not support settlements added by other MODs, and may be supported in future updates.
Since Far Harbor is at least 200 miles away from the Federation, communication signals cannot reach Far Harbor. You need to establish a scavenger communication station locally in Far Harbor.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
