About this mod Machine translation
An alternative to the Pip-boy world map, available in 8k resolution, offering an in-game aerial view of the Commonwealth. Made using the game's LoD meshes and textures, etc. It also expands the boundaries of pip-boy's map, showing off some of the landscape beyond the playable area.
The mod is available in full color and monochrome versions, and there are optional files to use 4k textures instead of 8k. While these are lower quality, you can zoom out further on the world map. This is mostly a personal preference, as there won't be any noticeable performance impact when using either version.
Install
Extract the contents of the zip file to the Fallout4/data folder.
Use the mod manager or enable SatelliteWorldMap.esp manually.
Make sure these lines appear in Fallout4Prefs.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini:

For the colored version, you will need to make some additional edits to Fallout4Custom.ini:

This will force your pip-boy text color to white, which is annoying but sadly unavoidable. However, your HUD color will remain unchanged.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
