About this mod Machine translation

structure

Trenches - Short, Long, Fortified and Corner Trenches - 5 trenches available for digging to fortify your settlement. Build one or two for decent protection, or go all out and create a trench system.

Sandbag Cover - A stack of snap-on sandbags and a "strut" for reinforcing any area. The same applies to the trenches.

Dragon's Teeth - You may have seen these barriers in photos of the Siegfried Line, they are designed to stop vehicles or divert them into a kill zone. Great for stopping Power Armor's mechanized troops. There are 3 types of teeth to choose from, each with a different height and slightly different design.

Barbed wire fences and barricades - 3 fences, 3 barricades, Czech hedgehog, picket stakes - Fences and log structures wrapped in barbed wire deny enemies advancing further and can be used to lure them into the killing zone.

Quonset Hut - Medium sized hut made of corrugated galvanized steel. It can become a living area for different areas of the wasteland. Thanks to Ethreon for the mesh.

Watchtower - Survey the area from this fortified position and watch out for enemy commandos.

Improvised defensive positions - not like you would have an effective defense industry 200 years after a nuclear war - these two positions were made from a combination of the strongest materials found.

Easy Picnic Table - Any area can be turned into a hot zone, flip over a picnic table, throw some sandbags in front of it and you'll have a spot to hold on to.

Field Command - A camouflaged position with plenty of room for a table and weapons boxes to plan your attacks.

Defensive Pit - Digging out the dirt with sandbags provides a cheap position (hehe).

Tent - A sandbag reinforced tent.

Lightweight Sandbag Post - Lightly protected sandbag and wooden structure for use at checkpoints.

Heavy Duty Sandbag Post - A reinforced version of the light duty post; provides good coverage in hot areas.

Camouflaged Post - Camouflaged wooden outpost, ideal for overlooking forested areas and blending in.

Defensive Position - Two sandbag mounds provide moderate cover for one man.

Camouflage nets - three camouflage nets that provide cover for defensive positions, gun turrets and artillery howitzers.

Barriers - Inspired by Hesco barriers, these wood-cased and dust-filled cubes are perfect for thick and tall walls.

High sandbag walls - suitable for general cover.

New features in version 3.0

  • Quonset Hut, you can provide everything you want. Stone foundation with uneven ground. Vanilla doors can snap off along with the stairs.
  • Dragon's Tooth Barrier.
  • Added simple picnic table.
  • Added large camouflage net to accommodate M1 howitzer.
  • All trenches have been updated and are now approximately twice as deep. The front won't stick out of the air on uneven ground.
  • The inner corner groove design has been changed to a straight edge, unlike a bottleneck.
  • Added two new versions of Sandbag Cover and Pillar, they are also deeper.
  • Snap-points adjust all.
  • Defense pits were edited to be larger and deeper so howitzers can be placed in them.
  • Disable the reflectivity of the camouflage mesh.

design features

You can do all this by taking part in defense and security positions in workshops.

Since the ground cannot be changed dynamically in the game, the trenches are above ground level.

Settlers can manage many buildings. Light and Heavy Sandbag Posts and Camouflaged Posts are available in two versions - one for designated protection and the other that can be placed on the roof.

All structures can be sunk into the ground.

Trench, sandbag cover and stanchions, defensive barriers and barbed wire fencing can be snapped at different heights so they can be used on uneven/sloping ground.

If the defensive position camouflage net combination doesn't work, place the net first and then slide the sandbag mound in. The same goes for howitzers.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
