About this mod Machine translation

This is the mod I started for Sanctuary.

Shelter has always been my sink time at the beginning of the game. Cleaning up leaves, trash, trees, cars...disgusting...it would be too bad if somehow my game save got corrupted again. Well, no more. I think some people might like it.

suggestion:

Of course, I recommend using this feature in new games, but I don't have any issues with ongoing games. I also recommend that you load this below other mods that affect this area. If you don't see what's described in the description, try changing the load order. Other mods affecting this area may cause conflicts. I recommend shadowslasher410 Scrap Everything for your scrapping needs. It works with this mod.

What you won't see...

Trash
Dirty streets
Muddy puddles that never dry out
Car
Trees (except those in cul-de-sacs)
Bushes (except those trimmed by Codsworth).
Leaf pile
Fence
privet hedge (except the first house on the left. It has a Graygarden quest marker attached to it.)
Dead attackers, blood splatter and mutts.

What you should see...

All destroyed houses were replaced with entire houses.
Most of the carports have been removed, except for Rosa where the player's house and workbench are located. Sanctuary road sections were changed to reflect this.
All of the house (walls, roof, skylights if any, sound marks, front steps, sidewalk steps to the stairs) are associated with the foundation. So if you are scrapping any particular home or clearing the entire settlement, choose the foundation you want and scrap it. The rest of the house should come with it. It's easier if you don't want to use an existing structure and want to save time. If you want to keep it basic, scrap the walls. Everything is attached to them except the steps and step stones.
Each house at the entrance to the left hallway has a thermostat. If you hover over it in workshop mode you'll see that if you want to scrap the groaning/squeaking house sound it will scrap it. This will be the only abandoned thing in the house. If you are building a whole house, connect the thermostat to the wall. I didn't remove the squeaks because I really like them.
Expanded borders covering the entire island, but with no discernible borders. If you're standing on an island, you're most likely in a construction zone.
Both bridges have been replaced. Added full navigation mesh on North Bridge. I removed this in case anyone wants to use the old destroyed bridge. It really doesn't change anything in terms of bridge availability.
All houses are devoid of all furniture/cabinets/items except Shaun's crib because it has a quest trigger attached to it. And the fireplace BOS task is attached to it.
All materials obtained through scrapping and items scattered around the Sanctuary are located in ammo boxes on the workbench. The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. book and Grognak magazine are also on the workbench. To get the item list, I started a new game without scrap mode. I did a 'scrapall' and retrieved everything that wasn't scrapped. I looked at what was available and placed the items in the ammo box. You don't lose anything in terms of materials, you don't have to do it yourself.
All mission triggers and insects are still intact.
If you want it natural or have enough room to put those brahmins into pasture, I would leave the trees/bush outside the old boundaries.
All crafting benches are in Rosa's garage.
All ambient lighting is gone.
I didn't hit the dugout (root cellar) behind the house. Mainly because I never use it. I just rob it and use a surface house.
I moved the hammered npc markers to other houses (since they all need fixing, right?!) and then I added a bunch of other npc markers and one for the child. I moved the ground markers to other locations. One is at the foot of a big tree, one is by the river, and one is on the cliff overlooking the foot bridge. The only NPC marker I haven't moved is a guarded position near a garage. Npc markings for work on the house (hammering, welding, pa …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
