About this mod Machine translation

What can I say, except that it is a very difficult task and the stakes are high.

I managed to do the entire area and still leave the mission unscathed.

Every, and I mean every building has been removed and replaced (not removed just sunk).

All the navmesh HAD was to be re-done from scratch as all the old buildings were gone and new ones were added with more buildings in their place.

The road was also replaced with a clean version, but I also changed it to now "loop" back to the entrance of the bridge.

While doing the new road layout I saw more built up areas making it look like a real town.

All lanes are also navigated and used by settlers/NPRs.

Now here’s what you need to listen to…

As far as architecture goes, that's what I do.

  • "Our" house has been replaced by a new brick style home, but has the exact same layout as the old house.
  • The workshop (Rosa's) did the same thing as our house, but with a lot of animation changes.

The example you'll see in the photo is a wrecked car on a cinder block, my friends are asking idiots not to hit the wall but to make it look like they worked on the car... ;)

  • A brand new riverside area with a small port, fish farm and fish tavern.
  • The new players' residence overlooks the river and features a private dock and terrace with stunning views.
  • New "Trading Area" (that's what I call it) where you can set up several trading booths/stands.
  • Bank
  • Gun shop
  • Large building as a hotel or whatever you want to use it for.
  • Churches and cemeteries
  • School building
  • Medical Center
  • The farm has fruit and vegetable stalls and farmers’ homes
  • Security/prison and central guard tower covering the main entrance to the bridge.
  • A bar with a large terrace upstairs and small quarters for the bar
  • Twin stores can be whatever you want (set up like a mini plaza). I'm kind of like a clothing store with a window platform to display your stuff.
  • A park!
  • 3 very tall guard towers that look very cool at night (imo) and are already tested for settlers (you just need to place pads/markers and assign them.
  • Apparently...a new bridge blends into the new look, navigates completely and works as expected.

That's all I remember, but I'm sure you'll discover the rest...

Now for some technical stuff…

a) I installed a generation (100 power) and a water purifier (40 water)

The purifier looks like a water tower and requires power.

Connect that chain to a tower (beside it) but link the PYLON to the GEN instead of the one on the tower. Then connect that tower to the "water tower."

The gen may not appear to be running, but you will see a power of 100 in the statistics.

These minor issues may be because my save game is not 100% clean.

Mutfruit is a transferable asset and counts as a settlement resource.

Some beds count too, but it depends on your savings. .................................................................................................................

Known issues..

These aren't real issues, but rather things that the game itself is responsible for.

You can see a few items (again based on your save game), these are some old random doors and refrigerator doors, a few scratchable items here and there, and most importantly... the workshop has been moved next to the power armor bench, but you'll find it in front of the door.

To repair doors and scraps, just scrap them...

To fix the workshop bench... I highly recommend this mod that will place a marker at the location where you close the workshop menu and then once you close the workshop menu... POOF... it will move to the new location. Use it to move the workbench

The hard way is to use the console and the commands modpos and setangle to move it.

This mod may interfere with any red rocket mods as reaching the other side makes a new bridge, but I haven't tested anything for …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
