s.t.a.l.k.r.music mode
s.t.a.l.k.r.音乐模式
About this mod Machine translation
-This is a replacement for all vanilla music, so (hopefully) you won't hear any exploration music (some short vanilla songs may appear in specific dungeons or at night).
-Note: The music track in this mod is much louder than the vanilla music in Aftermath, so you may want to turn the music volume down a bit on the game menu. (These tracks will be normalized in a future release if I have enough time).
-This is still a wip beta, so you may hear the song switch to another version before it ends.
-I've left the main menu, combat, discovery, levels, towns, shelters, exploration, factions and some special music untouched for now to keep some of the atmosphere/vibe of Fallout.
-This doesn't include any dlc yet, I may do it later, but no promises.
-All music is hand-selected by me (they are subject to future changes). So far, alternative music is:
*Environmental exploration----Day, dusk and night, each with its own unique song;
*dungeon;
*Cities----like Redington, downtown Boston, etc.;
*Glowing Sea - Day and night, each episode has its own song;
-It contains music from all three Stalker games, + some from Lost Alpha.
-I inserted some pauses between some of the tracks so that they blend well when one ends and the next starts, so you may notice a 5-10 second delay between some songs.
-Mod has ba2 archives for optimal game performance to reduce any possible audio lag.
-Audio files are converted to. xwm format, which saves a lot of space, but also has some quality loss (almost impossible to achieve).
-This cannot be used in negotiations with other music alternatives as it will most likely overwrite mine. Esp changes.
-Now..."Hunt well, stalker"
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
