RustyXXLs CBBE BodySlide

Some CBBE BodySlide is used in several mods. They started off a bit fast and dirty but have grown a lot since then.

If you just want to plug and play, there are pre-made grids ("Lazymans") included in the installers for CBBE Curvy, CBBE Slim and CBBE Vanilla. No further adjustments are required.

If you are not using the pre-built Lazymans meshes, remember to build them in BodySlide.

Obviously you need those mods and CBBE to achieve this.

If you install the BodySlide files, you also need BodySlide. ;)

I wouldn't offer broad support for these. Feel free to use these to build better versions.

Install:

You want to be ready to play as fast as possible:

• Follow the instructions to download, approve and install CBBE.
• Follow the instructions to download, approve and install the mod that interests you.
• Install the Lazymans mesh for your mods and your preferred Bodytype from my installer

You want maximum customization:

• Follow the instructions to download, approve and install CBBE.
• Download and install the BodySlide support files from the CBBE page.
• Follow the instructions to download, approve and install BodySlide and Outfit Studio.

3.a) (Optional) Follow the instructions to download, sign and install the preset of your choice.

• Follow the instructions to download, approve and install the mod that interests you.
• Install the BodySlide package for your mod and your preferred Bodytype from my installer.
• Launch BodySlide and select or create a preset of your choice.
• Click "Batch Generation". Deselect CBBE Body _OR_ CBBE Nevernude, depending on whether you want Nudity or not.

Q＆A

I don't know what to do with these bodyslide files!

You definitely need to install bodyslide.

How do I use bodyslide files?

There are many tutorials about bodyslide. The shortest answer I can give is, install bodyslide, install the bodyslide files from this mod, load bodyslide. Shape your body. Batch build, select all armors to export. Finish. For more advanced editing, click the OutfitStudio button in the bodyslide.

The textures are crazy!

You must install CBBE (NSFW Link) first. That's your first step. None of this works properly without CBBE installed.

I don't change the texture. If Body Textures are messed up, you either didn't install them correctly or they were overwritten by another mod.

This is frustrating.

I feel you. Using bodyslide definitely takes some time from novice to pro, but it's really not that much. With a few days of fiddling, you'll be exporting your dream girl in no time.

Why are pre-made grids called "lazy"? I'm not lazy!

First of all, there is nothing wrong with being lazy, as long as you don’t overdo it. Great advances have been made in all kinds of fields because people were too lazy to do things by hand. Laziness is great. You could argue that even computers exist in part because people are too lazy to calculate the same math over and over again by hand.

Other than that, it's just a term that describes how much you don't have to do in order to get started with these. They are not called that way because you would be lazy if you used them, but because you can be lazy and use them.
