What is this mod?
This mod takes you out of the Federation and takes you to the ruins of the Empire; the former metropolis of New York City.
How many are there now?
Currently, the city is still a "work in progress" with some areas fully fleshed out and navigable, but most other areas are currently a barren landscape with little to no editing. The author is creating this mod himself, so it will take a long time. The author thanks everyone for their patience. The author ensures that the entire island is intact; there is more.
How to get there:
Gates of Manhattan is located in the river southeast of Shelter Hills.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
