Added three new skins for the FX version of the UMP, as well as three new scope mounting options from dak's scope pack
Preface: FX's UMP (I should upload it simultaneously):
Dak’s Western Technology Sight Pack (already distributed):
As pictured, the skin is made of metal and wood, no polymer. I (original author MarkesOrelies, the same below) may re-texture it in the future, keeping the polymer and just making it look less factory-fresh.
Additionally, Shelter Tech and Predator themed skins have been added
These will change all parts of the FX's UMP except the sights and lasers.
Added 3 new scopes from dak's western tech scope pack.
How to use
The default steel-wood skin directly replaces the default skin after installation.
Vault-Tech Skin: Under skin options. Just select it at the workbench when modifying the weapon. The new skin is called Vault tec
The same goes for the Predator under the skin options, just select it on the workbench when modifying the weapon. The new skin is called Raider
conflict:
I need to edit the base game entry to add a skin option like I did with mp5 which may cause problems.
If using the ammunition expansion plan and its patches, it is sorted in the following way
HK_UMP.esp
HuK_UMP - RotC.esp
(THE PATCH)HuK-UMP-RotC Munitions Patch.esp
FAQ。
Q: The 3 new sights are pink.
Answer: You need to download the dak sight package. I only add models that fit the gun. And I don't want to pack textures because I will be adding these sights to more guns.
Q: This gun looks like it weighs a ton.
Answer: I heard it.
Question: Why?
Answer: Because I want it too.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
