It's a story as common as radiation poisoning: you spend so much time running between settlements that need your help that you completely forget that it's almost Christmas, and besides, you haven't bought any presents. What now? All stalls and commercial spaces have been completed. Kara was nowhere to be seen. The Super-Duper Mart may technically be open, but who wants a 200-year-old Salisbury steak with feral ghoul teeth marks on it? The random crap of gift wrapping from the Myrna robot is also getting old. Besides, it’s almost all the way to Diamond City, right?

Wouldn't it be nice if you could stay home and have someone else bring you something, like, right now? But who would be crazy enough to deliver in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, especially on such a short notice? !

Well, you’re in luck, because it turns out, RobCo does just that! What most people don't know is that before the bombs dropped, a large, fully-stocked, fully automated warehouse had been built. An elaborate marketing campaign was planned for December 2077 to advertise a structural kit of so-called "telephone shopping beacons" that would allow anyone with such a device in their backyard to transmit purchase orders to the facility from the comfort of their home terminal. With speed and efficiency beyond imagination, RobCo then packages the ordered items into specialized Eyebots and sends them to the customer.

"But," you might ask, "if it was planned to be released in December of 2077, there's no way they could have released it because, well, this rather important event happened in December of that year? Granted, a global nuclear disaster, but that sort of dampened RobCo's plans. However, fate strikes you again! Samples of the product are rumored to have been sent to selected retailers ahead of the release date. Which ones, in fact, are there, but most importantly for you, Wattz Consumer Electronics.

Usage

Walk over to Wattz Consumer Electronics. Find the magazine there. (Refer to the last few pictures in the gallery) You can also pick up a building kit box, which contains the resources you need.

Once you find the magazine, build and power the Teleshopping Beacon from Power -> Misc.

In the connected terminal, select "[ > Teleshopping]".

Select Browse Store to view available product categories, select a category to view the products within it, and select a product to add to your shopping cart.

You can view and change your shopping cart from the main view.

When you're ready to order, exit the terminal. The cash register on the beacon will open. Activate it to deposit your pre-war funds.

Once payment is deposited, an Eyebot will be dispatched to deliver your items. You can claim them from Beacon's mailbox.

In the settings you can also change the currency to caps and even surcharges. This is a single player game and you can set the difficulty yourself. The latter setup will also al …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
