About this mod Machine translation

Use the Robco Patcher to patch weapon mods so that they use ammo and ammunition from ammo attachments.

Tired of loading tons of patch files in your order? This mod is designed to reduce the number of patch esp files required to apply ammo and NPC ammo LL records to weapons using the Robco patcher. All of this is contained in a series of .ini files that change relevant records in the weapon mod when the game loads. It now includes weapons that require changing omods or removing crafting recipes. Please note that there is currently no way to rename MISC mods that go into your inventory or replace ammo that has been placed in the world. Modified descriptions also cannot be changed while using the workbench. So if this bothers you, use the plugin-based patch provided in the link at the bottom of the page.

It also automatically detects which mods you have installed and only patches what you have, ignoring anything you don't have installed.

Now install via fomod installer. This allows installers to detect which weapon mods you have and install the associated ammo level list injectors. Yes that's right, you no longer need to manually add ammo via holotape, it's all handled by the patcher and its ini files!!!

PLEASE NOTE!!! If you are running Ammo Add-Ons and the weapon mod has entries for both Ammo-Ammo Expansion Items and Ammunition Add-Ons, then it will set the ammo based on the Ammo Add-Ons.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
