About this mod Machine translation
A set of reworks of the MetalMonster version of the New Vegas Riot Armor
As shown in the picture, there are many versions of NCR armor, but only one version is available to you as a collection of armor pieces, not as a single costume. Unfortunately, the mod was left buggy and unfinished. I (referring to the original author WhiskyTangoFox, the same below) have cleaned it up to the best of my (limited) ability, integrated RadBeetle's female grid, and ESLized the plug-in.
This module includes
A complete set of armor: arms, legs, torso and helmet.
Balanced to match combat armor.
Using materials from the original combat armor
Available in light, medium and heavy duty versions. These have attribute differences but look the same in game.
Known issues
- On the crafting bench, the preview shows combat armor instead of Riot armor. I don't know how to solve this problem.
- Material swapping does not change the appearance of the armor - Original mod does not have texture swapping, I am not an artist.
- There is no in-game integration, the only way to obtain armor is to use console commands or the ESP Extractor, so this counts as a mod resource.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
