Brief description
This module is the successor of the Modular Infantry Energy Rifle (MIER). Its structure has been completely redesigned, splitting the all-in-one weapon into different guns for each damage type. This allowed me to get rid of some annoying bugs and implement a new set of cool features, namely proper key effects for each damage type and projectile color. And, of course, it's completely retextured. Now the weapon has a name and a manufacturer. It's the Rheinmetall EG-7 Energiegewehr (energy rifle), it's the German Hergestellt:)
Contains
It's basically a collection of four energy rifles - Laser (EG-7L), Gauss (EG-7G), Plasma (EG-7P) and Plasma Cannon (EG-7X).
EG-7L modification: beam splitter (shotgun), beam tuner (sniper), 750 nm wavelength (red laser), 500 nm wavelength (blue laser), damage modifier (20%-200%), 5 receivers (semi-automatic, fully automatic, 4 speed settings).
EG-7G modification: particle splitter (shotgun), silencer, damage correction (20%-200%).
EG-7P modifications: Bolt decoupler (shotgun), Bolt accelerator (sniper), Default barrel (green plasma), Blue shift barrel (blue plasma), Projectile guidance computer (slower projectiles automatically aim at target), Damage modifier (20%-200%), 5 receivers (semi-automatic, 4 fully automatic speed settings).
EG-7X modification: damage modification (150, 250, 350, 500 base damage). By default, the EG-7X Explosive Plasma Missile locks on to your target.
Share changes:
2 magazines (extended micro-fusion pool, which works similar to the fusion core, and the original micro-fusion pool);
3 stocks (assault, marksman, recoil compensation);
2 grips (pistol and assault);
2 gauntlets (default and tactical);
8 scopes (Iron Sights, Vault-Tec Reflex Sights, Rheinmetall Reflex Sights, Rheinmetall Shotgun Reticle Reflex Sights, Magnified Scopes, West-Tek Scopes 4x, 6x, and 10x);
15 skins (US Army, GI Joe Black, Blue Digital Camo, Brotherhood of Steel, Brotherhood of Steel: Pride of Lyon, Enclave, Flektarn, Green Digital Camo, Gunner, Academy, Militia, Pink, Railroad, Red, Tan).
Update 1.1 features:
Atlas Elektronik Zielerfassungssystem (Target Scanning System) - a holographic sight with a combined reconnaissance range and target HUD. Track targets and highlight all creatures.
Atlas Elektronik RAFFT-D6-NK Zielfernrohr (optical scope) - Customizable scope with 4x/6x/10x magnification and optional night vision and/or recon + sighting. When it is connected to the gun, a new "Atlas Scope Settings" category will be available where you can select your Atlas scope settings. Different magnification options are freely interchangeable, so you don't need to waste resources switching magnifications.
Atlas electronic sights require science! Level 3 skill to craft them.
Scripted upgrade list injected into BoS soldiers, militia soldiers, railway agents, gunner bosses, random bosses at level 25, various merchants like KL-E-O, Arturo - starting at level 30. Don't forget, if you are installing the game midway, LL injection will occur after 72 game hours! Also keep in mind that EG-7 should be very rare since I'm mainly adding it to bosses (exceptions: Academy, Brotherhood).
Direct leveling list replaced with all institute laser gun leveling lists. Every Institute laser gun should be replaced with an Institute-skinned EG-7: the damaged version, starting at level 1 with half the base damage, and the full version starting at level 20. It's now even more dangerous to annoy Institute synths, so be careful!
All injected EG-7s run on vanilla MFC mags for better compatibility.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
