About this mod Machine translation

Mod description

This repairs the hole in the roof of the Sanctuary house. The large holes in the roof really bothered me, so I replaced all of the roofing with pre-war versions while still keeping the post-war texture.

All these mods do is change the mesh of the roofs in the temple from the broken post-war roofs to the pre-war roofs while still maintaining the rusty post-war textures. If you don't use Patch Job, there will still be holes in the roof texture because that's how the vanilla texture is made.

To make this mod work, I recommend Scrap Everything, making sure to load my esp after Scrap Everything.

Use a patch job - fill these holes to remove the "rusty" texture of the roof and get a nice solid roof as shown in the screenshot, otherwise your roof will still look like Swiss cheese.

Give your house a nice touch using Paint That House

If you don't want to use Scrap Everything you need to add this line

Fallout.ini under the General heading

bUseCombinedObjects = 0

(Thanks to JackaL187Gaming for the fix)

This ini edit will result in performance loss when traveling in high population or object dense areas such as downtown Boston.

Everything you need to crap or edit to make this mod work. If you don't want to use methods then this mod is not for you

Install

Extract the files into Fallout 4 files.

I'll try to make it NMM compatible, I've never made one before so we'll see what happens...

uninstall

Delete nif files according to the path.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
