describe
Fixed a bug where ReShade effects such as Bloom, Depth of Field, and Ambient Occlusion were causing UI clutter.
Installation instructions
Download address library and F4SE
Download ReShade if you haven't already. My (original author Shdowraithe101, the same below) mod is suitable for versions 6.2.0 and 6.4.0. In 6.4.0, ReShade itself has a bug where clicking on the map doesn't work, so I recommend 6.2.0.
Download the plugin for the specific game version you're running
Open the game, then open the ReShade UI (default HOME) and go to the addons tab. There you should see my addon called "Fallout 4 ReShade Addon", if it's disabled, enable it.
Uninstall instructions
Remove this mod. This can be done safely at any time.
What to do when it doesn’t “Just Work”
Make sure you have ReShade 6.2.0 or 6.4.0 installed. Also, make sure you have the address library and F4SE installed.
Send me the log file located in "Documents/My Games/Fallout 4/F4SE/ReShadeIgnoresInGameUI.log". If it says "ReShade not found" it probably means your version of ReShade is out of date, or you haven't installed it yet.
Explain what you were doing when it didn't work. Did it crash? Also tell me which version of the game you're playing.
Prerequisites
F4SE
Address library corresponding to the game version

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
