About this mod Machine translation

Adds the Remington 700 rifle to the game, with customizable rating list integration, custom sounds and animations for first and third person, and various modifications.

Front: MCM (optional, used to switch ammunition types instantly):

STS (optional, required for some STS sights such as ACOG, Reap-IR, etc., there is also a corresponding original sight line version if not required):

TR (optional, but personally recommended, because both animations are very pleasing to the eye, and it’s a pity to only cycle one set of animations):

As shown in the picture, the Remington 700 bolt-action rifle has been a good product of The Big Lidowski for 21 years. I originally planned to add it in the future, so I will send it out together with the armory project. (It is also the bolt-action rifle I have used for the longest time, and I highly recommend it)

describe

The Remington Model 700 is a very famous bolt-action rifle and the real-life counterpart to the original game's shotgun. Its reliability and versatility have ensured its dominance in the civilian and military markets since 1962 and it's still going strong.

It can be a classic old-school shotgun or a modern top-notch sniper weapon system, and I (original author TheBigLidowski, the same below) tried to reflect its versatility in this mod.

To replace a vanilla shotgun with this rifle, you can use Ardent's Remington Model 700 - Shotgun Replacement:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
