This mod adds a "Random Weapon Vending Machine" to the settlement building menu, which will randomly sell weapons from the mod you have installed. It reads weapon data directly from your installed mod via F4SE, so there is no need to modify any ESP files or perform additional steps.
If the game crashes when loading a save file or the filter settings don't work, download from the file tab and use option file.
This mod does not work on next-gen versions.
Updated on March 24th:
1.3.3 version update:
Some mods add a lot of legendary effects that have no actual abilities, just for added description. These effects will no longer apply to gear in Legendary Chests.
**Version 1.3 Update:**
Weapon vending machines now have a low chance of selling "Random Legendary Weapon Boxes". When used, this box will give you a random weapon with a random legendary effect. Occurrence rates can be configured in MCM.
(Version 1.3.1) Occasionally, a summoned legendary weapon cannot be selected. To fix this, a small mark will now appear above summoned weapons, allowing you to retrieve the weapon by activating the mark.
To use this machine, first enter Build Mode and navigate to Store > Weapons tab. There you will find the "Random Weapon Vending Machine" and can craft it.
When you activate a vending machine, it will sell a randomly selected weapon based on the configured quantity and price multiplier. Just like other vendors, the selection of weapons is refreshed regularly.
In the MCM menu, under "Random Weapon Vending Machine," you can view the mod description and adjust various settings. You can configure the number of weapons available per refresh, set price multipliers for sold weapons, and choose whether to include vanilla weapons in the random selection.
Machines will occasionally sell boxes containing legendary weapons, and the appearance rate of these boxes can also be configured in the MCM.
This vending machine sells weapons for a very high price, so if a weapon you want appears but is missing the required cap, you may want to use cheats or console commands. Instead, you can avoid this by pulling the lever on the right side of the vending machine. This will temporarily freeze weapon selection, allowing you to keep your current item for a while.
(New) This mod contains code to automatically exclude weapons that cannot be used or are not intended to be used, but it may not be perfect. Selecting 'Open Weapon Exclusion Filter' will open the container menu. If you put such weapons in, they will no longer appear in the sales list.
I (the original author dnfrealtec, the same below) don't understand English at all, so all English on this page and in the Mod are translated by ChatGPT. The text of all mods can be edited in the files and ESP in the interface/Translations folder, so feel free to modify it if you find any awkward wording or require a different language.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
